Participants will learn a simple framework to help unblock the creative process, and identify key points that will inspire their video content. We will discuss scripted vs. more free flowing video styles, and the importance of having an outside eye to help refine your content. After in class, interactive brainstorming (and some journaling!) participants will walk away with an individualized starter kit for video content, for them, or their business.
About Our Speaker:
My name is Alice Grindling (they/them/theirs). I started out studying theatre and film in New York City and fell in love with being on the other side of the camera, and fascinated with the creative story-telling process. As a videographer/editor/content creator my work has taken me to the Amazon in Peru following a group of nurses, to the heart of NYC working for non-profits and national websites. In Maine I have had the pleasure of working with many small business owners, helping them find their "voice"- both on-camera and through content creation. Hey, starting is the hardest part, and I love being a creative partner for the ever-growing important medium of video.
