ESOP: A change to employee ownership

Learn about the journey of Landry/French construction on their road to employee ownership. It starts with our thought process to the ESOP, the parties including outside help that had to be involved, what the ownership transition looked like and how all that supported the growth of Landry/French Construction.

Presented by:

Denis Landry, President of Landry/French Construction, has over 40 years of experience in the commercial construction industry, including 15 years at Richard White Sons Construction and 10 years as President of Payton Maine Corporation.

Denis began Landry Construction in 2006 and in 2010 became Landry/French Construction. Under his leadership at Landry/French, the company has grown to nearly 60 professionals with $150 million a year in revenues, servicing clients throughout Northern New England from offices in Maine and New Hampshire. Since its founding, the 10-year-old company has received numerous national and regional awards and recognition including Inc. 5000’s list of Fastest Growing Companies in America; Engineering News Record, Top New England Contractor; Governor’s Award for Business Excellence; three AGC Build Maine Awards; and Best Places to Work in Maine for six consecutive years.

Denis is a native of Maine, lives in Naples, Maine and enjoys family time at the family lake house.
