Audience Takeaways:
The role Startup Maine plays in the ecosystem; what we're seeing/hearing from founders, what we need to do to promote Maine as a vibrant tech scene; how we work with the state and what other gaps have been identified. How can consultants help startups.
Description:
Maine's startup ecosystem is at a pivotal point. There are many organizations and initiatives that exist to support entrepreneurs, but we need more talent, incentives, capital, mentors & storytelling. It's going to take a village (and a vision) to promote Maine as a tech startup destination - and we see the annual conference (in 2022) playing a large role in this effort. As we think about the differing needs of main street business (small-to-medium enterprises) and high-growth/scalable companies, what can the state, service providers and support organizations do to help support & enable the momentum of these companies? How can local consultants better serve startups & founder
